Chicago

May is just the perfect time to be in Chicago – who doesn’t love the pleasant springtime when the sun shines brighter and the breeze is still cool.

We landed at the O’Hare airport around noon and Cloud Gate was the very first thing we wanted to see. Its a quick train ride away and Millennium Park is a great place to start the tour of this beautiful city.

The sky and the skyline gets reflected on the shiny steel and the Bean takes the color of its surroundings. Not only the exterior, even the inside mirrors everything beneath and looks like a maze of sort. Designed by Anish Kapoor, it sure is one of the most interesting structures in the world.

It presents a stunning backdrop for photography. And we spent quite some time there appreciating this work of art.

My Favorite memory of this trip – was clicking our reflection on the bean among many others.

Love exploring new places? We do, too. Welcome to 'Traveldefined'. This blog is a way of storytelling for me - mainly, about our travel adventures. My Husband and I - we are fond of touring around the country, enjoy delving into history, love clicking memorable pictures and are firm believers of spontaneous road trips (our all-time favorites).
