Travel-filled Year 2014: A Look Back

T’was an year of travel for us. From Chicago to Los Angeles, New York to Death Valley, Las Vegas to Toronto and ending the year in India – we have been able to explore more of this beautiful world this year.

And along with travelling, I also started the blog this year – so it has been even more wonderful.

Began the year with celebrations in Pittsburgh, enjoyed fabulous views of the city from Mt. Washington and a sumptuous dinner. In February, braved an icy trip to New York to watch the live taping of ‘The Daily Show with John Stewart’ and it was totally worth it to wait in the line for over two hours.

Next, was Philadelphia – another great trip and the most memorable part of it was our visit to the ‘Eastern State Penitentiary’. It was such a unique experience and we enjoyed it thoroughly. In May, we were in Atlantic City along with my brother and had a great time on the beach, boardwalk and the casino.

The second trip to Philadelphia came quickly and this time, we explored the city on foot. Then, it was Niagara Falls – one of our many visits and it is always fun to enjoy the magnificent fall views.

June was the West Coast time for us, and the first stop was Las Vegas where we spent around four days. It was great to be back in the city, and we enjoyed our time there before leaving for Grand Canyon. We fall short of words, every-time we see this wonder of nature. Next up, was Death Valley and it was quite an experience driving through this vast landscape.

Arrived in Los Angeles, and had a wonderful day in Universal Studios. Following day, we explored the city with my brother and had a great time.

Later during the year, we moved to Canada & visited the lovely city of Toronto and Niagara Falls. It is absolutely amazing to see this beautiful country.

And by November, we landed in Delhi, India to be with family and friends. And ended the year in Bangalore.
